Image snippet
Embed a QR code
When the generator preview is ready, it shows an embed snippet. Copy that image tag and paste it on another site. The snippet is a self-contained SVG in an img, so it sits next to your own layout without loading a QR Board page.

Logo overlay (optional)
From this device. Embeds will not include it. Error correction switches to H.
Enter a web address.
Width and height match the pixel size you chose. Example: size 240 becomes a 240×240 image. The generator page itself does not put your content in the address bar.
This is a static embed. There is no click counter and no editable destination after print. If you need to change the target later, host a page you control and encode that URL instead.
A logo overlay is local to the tab and is not stored in the snippet, so an embed will not include it. Copy a fresh snippet after the required fields are filled.
Questions
- What does a typical embed look like?
- An img whose src is a data URI of the SVG, with width and height matching the size you chose, and alt “QR code”.
- Which parameters are supported?
- type, size, fg, fg2, fgm, bg, ce, eye, eye2, eyem, ecc, dots, mb, mc, plus the fields for that type: data for URL and text; ssid, password, encryption, hidden for Wi-Fi; email, subject, body; phone and message; name, org, website for vCard; address for MeCard; lat, lng, place for location; name, start, end, allday, place, body for event. fgm and eyem are solid, linear, or radial. ce=1 turns on a custom eye color.
- Do you track scans of the embed?
- No. The image is inlined in the snippet, so showing it does not load a page from QR Board. Host access logs are not involved unless you use the /embed URL in a tab.
- Why is my image missing or broken?
- Copy a fresh snippet from the generator after the required fields are filled. The snippet is a full SVG, so paste the whole img tag, not a truncated src.
